Slight blog update.

I finally updated the 'Blogs I like to read' section. I removed a few that I wasn't reading anymore and added some new ones. A couple are ones that I just recently started reading, but I liked what I read so far so I thought I would add them. But I did add a few that I have been reading for awhile now but have been to lazy to update, sorry.

I know that I get very few comments on this blog as well as readers I'm sure, and that is something that I have been fine with since I decided to start a blog. But if someone does happen to read this blog and has commented and I haven't added you to my list, let me know so that I can.

I'm not on your list!

Oh wait, yes I am. Also, I comment! Tell ya what though... I'm not sure I had you on my RSS feed. Will check and remedy -- that or you just don't post enough! :D

I would lean towards the not posting enough side!! You know I really need to set up RSS, would really help me stay on top of my blog reading much easier.

It's not only easier, it's far more efficient. I now keep tabs on 20-30 regularly updated blogs (maybe more -- I have 115+ in my reader, but not all are very active) and I certainly wouldn't be able to do that if I had to check sites by hand, so to speak.

The whole RSS / reader thing (which I'd never tried till last August) has seriously broadened my horizons in that sense, and it's LESS time-consuming than it used to be just keeping up with 3-6 blogs.

Much, much better.

I use GoogleReader, it's very simple and has been pretty reliable. Best of all, I don't care if sites have an RSS link or not -- just copy the top-level blog address and paste it into the handy-dandy AddNewSub box in GReader. Couldn't be simpler.

Oh, and it's not just blogs. I have the WAR herald in there, for instance, and I could probably throw in my LiveJournal friends too, but I like to visit the site for that (silly I know, but it keeps various sides of my life more distinct).
