Done and Done!

So I finished my third and fourth playthrough of Fallout New Vegas yesterday. To be fair I didn't start a fourth game and finish it, I just continued from a save that I made about half way through my third playthrough and went from there. I started with the NCR, did the Legion next and saved the neutral endings for last.

Overall I am very satisfied with Fallout New Vegas, the addition of factions really adds a nice dynamic to the game that Fallout 3 did not have. I was underwhelmed by the crafting in the game though, both for ammo and survival and the random crashes to desktop and occasional buggy-ness of the game was sometimes off putting. But I would highly recommend Fallout New Vegas to anyone who liked Fallout 3, it's worth it.

I hardly did any crafting, except for some helpful medical supplies. I was already hurting for room in my inventory, and it's like you want me to carry even more crap? No thanks.

In any case, it certainly sounds like you got your money's worth out of Fallout New Vegas. All 4 endings! Grats on truly finishing the game!

It would have been more helpful if there was a recipe book or something, but I agree with you, I had little desire to carry all that junk with me.

Four times! That's just crazy talk. :)

I'm with MMOGamerChick. FNV sounds like a great investment to if you got that much out of the game. Heck, I get bored with most games before I finish them. I seem to remember you did something similar with Alpha Protocol. Do you go this in depth with a lot of games or just the special ones?

@Bronte - Well I wouldn't say patience, more like persistence. After the first playthrough I had to fight the urge to stop and play something else.

@Anjin - Believe it or not Alpha Protocol was the game that made me realize I prefer the 10-15 hour games, I just really liked that game.

I guess I just didn't want FNV so sit on my hard drive like many of the other games that I claim I will play again later.
