I'm not one for New Year's resolutions, but I thought this year maybe I'll try to start a new trend. You see, I lack discipline and willpower, and that leads me to buy more games than I can play. What I'm hoping to do is to limit my purchases till I take care of some of the backlog...the pile...the stack. It's known by many names but it's condition is the same.Beside The Old Republic, I am thinking that I pick one game to play and if possible stick with it till the end. I know what you're thinking, this is how you're suppose to do things. Well not only do I buy too many games, I also have a bad habit of playing those games for say a few minutes before moving on. I guess you could say I am easily distracted by shiny things.
I just finished War in the North so I was thinking of playing Rage next. But there is a good chance I might pick up Saints Row the Third and play that first. Of course I was also thinking of playing through both Mass Effect's before the third comes out. But then there's Space Marine, or even Fallout New Vegas with all of the cool DLC and......OMG TOO MANY GAMES!!!!

You played through War in the North three times. How many times did you play Mass Effect 1 or 2? I don't think you have much of a problem with discipline. You just need more time.
Well, I played through Mass Effect once on both the PC and Xbox and Mass Effect 2 three times on the PC!
Am thinking along the same lines - pulled out half a dozen unfinished games from 2011 which I plan to work through first. Up first is Crysis 2...
You do like to ring out every last drop of game, don't you? I wish I had your discipline. I flit from game to game like crazy. So much so that I have to remark on my blog when I actually finish a game.
Holy cow, I forgot I bought Crysis 2 for ten bucks during the holiday. Add another game to the pile.
With so many choices to spend your time with I think it's a good thing to proud when you finish a game.
